Mattress compatibility
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or backpacking mattress measuring 25.6″ maximum width.
We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 2.4″ thick in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
Ventilation
Side door enabling maximum ventilation when it is open. Bedroom in breathable mesh. The space between the flysheet and around the base of the tent enables air to circulate between the bedroom and the flysheet and reduces natural condensation.
Waterproofing
(2,000 mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 4.3 oz/m² polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don’t come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 30 mph measured near ground level (Force 6).
